Many of us only make causal prayers; beloved, I challenge you to give 10%(2.5 hours) off 24 hours to God through prayer daily and I promise your life will never be the same. Strengthen: without ceasing I Thessalonians 5:17 "pray without ceasing," We pray endlessly something asking for a situation to be resolved or a particular thing. Answers seens to be far away but remember Elijah of all people had to pray without ceasing.(1 king 18:41) I had a friend who refuse to pray on weekends because God was busy he said-He even refuse to pray for certain things because there people with more important and bigger problems than his and that will be selfish of Him. There are two types of people-some wait for prophecy before they prophesy whilst others like David prophecy without any aid. In the book "Recreating your world" we are taught to recreate a perfect world with our prophecy. We are strengthen day by day Lamentations 3:23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The writer, talks about the love and the mercies of God and conclude by stating we are new every morning. The Spirit of Jealous James 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. Jealousy and selfishness opposes the likes of trusting and caring. When you are overflowing with trust and care-there is order and advancement. I remember looking for a job for months without any advancement-my M.D only began to search few days later she had job. The spirit of jealous began to creep in -I thought we pray and worship the same God. What happened.??
