Matthew 16:23 KJV But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Peter of all people was cast down by JESUS because he opened the door for the devil. Just like job opened the door and he lost all his livelihood. We open the door for the devil by the construction of our words. Let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich, I can do all things through Christ, by his strips I am healed.
