Room for improvement Genesis 4:7 "If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.” As the story goes, God gave Cain a window of improvement an opportunity to give his best offering without dwelling on the past. If you have done anything wrong, God is saying, "you will be accepted" all you need is to do well, improve on your errors, learn from your mistakes.
