Proverbs 4:7.....and with all thy getting get understanding.
Understanding it's to gasp, or to get the meaning of a thing...to the Christian understanding is, "...if you listen to correction you will grow in understanding".
Proverb 15:32 We listen to correction through the word of God, through preachers, through books etc When you understand God, you will notice that, you acknowledge Him, you appreciate what He has done for you. Like David, you will understand that indeed.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. Amen
